Where The Light Is

A minha mais recente aquisição musical foi um maravilhoso album do guitarrista John Mayer.

Where The Light Is, de seu nome, é composto por 3 diferentes sets ao vivo dentro do mesmo concerto. Formato Acústico, formato Trio e o formato banda.

De entre todas as músicas resolvi escolher para deixar aqui Bold As Love, uma cover de Jimi Hendrix.

Free Falling!!

Quem já viu "Jerry Maguire" recorda-se (se não se recordam deixo aqui o link) de uma cena pela qual já muitos de nós devem ter passado, Jerry (interpretado por Tom Cruise) segue no seu carro e na emoção do momento procura sintonizar no rádio do carro uma música para cantar bem alto. Eu chamo-lhe banda sonora da vida, sim, porque há momentos das nossas vidas (tal como nos filmes) que merecem uma banda sonora adequada.
Deixo aqui uma versão formidável desta música original do Tom Petty, aqui interpretada por John Mayer...



P.S. - Esta versão que equilibra muito bem energia com tranquilidade poderia muito bem ser a banda sonora dos melhores momentos da noite passada...
